Hull signage firm creates new jobs as it marks its 30th anniversary
Rob Daysley, managing director of Hull-based Designs Signage Solutions, said the firm has seen a 50 per cent growth in business in the last 12 months, which has driven a 25 per cent increase in employees.
Over the 12 months to the end of June 2023 turnover was up from just under £4m to nearly £6m.

Hide AdThe firm has created 10 jobs in the last 12 months to take the workforce to 50. Another 10 people are expected to join the business over the next 12 months.
Mr Daysley said: “There are a few things that have come together right, with everybody aligning.
"Signage has been steady and graphics has motored along but the biggest factor has been our ability to seize the opportunities that have come up.”
Clients include MKM Stadium and Sewell Group Craven Park.
In dealing with the energy crisis, the company said it is reaping the benefits of green investment which dates back a decade, including solar panels, latex printing technology and electric vehicles.

Hide AdMr Daysley said: “The next 12 months look good. We have a very strong order book.”
He added: “We are being invited to pitch for more UK-wide opportunities and we are continuing to improve our carbon footprint and our production.”
