Morrisons is launching an extra large, fruit and vegetable box to help families get their five-a-day and eat healthily during the Covid-19 lockdown.

The new box is available from today on the Morrisons website for £22, which includes next day delivery to the customer's doorstep.

Weighing over 11kg, the box contains 135 portions of fruit and vegetables including family favourites such as Royal Gala apples, satsumas, baking potatoes, wonky carrots and The Best baby sweet peppers. Four types of salad, six varieties of vegetables and six types of fruit are included.

The Bradford-based firm said the new box will mean a family can easily eat their five-a-day during the course of a week.

It also said the new service will mean that people who are vulnerable, elderly or self-isolating will not need to leave their home.
