What was your first job?
I walked past Emily Bishop on Coronation Street. I used to do extra work as a child.

Leaving my child’s birthday cake on the kitchen table and the dog helping himself to it!
What’s your ideal day away from the office?
Spending time with my family – swimming in the sea with my children in Mallorca then having paella with a glass of rose watching the sun go down.

J K Rowling.
What was your best subject at school?
Drama was my favourite.
What are your hobbies?
Kundalini Yoga.
What would you do if you won the Lotto?
Write my wonderful family and friends large cheques but I would insist they cash them at Cash Generator! I’d probably set up a charity to help others.
What is your favourite item of clothing?

What’s your favourite time of day?
Saturday morning in bed reading the Yorkshire Post and drinking lots of Yorkshire Tea.
What’s the best thing about Yorkshire?
As a county it really does have everything in abundance, from fantastic scenery, great architecture, charming villages, historic towns and cities, stately homes and industrial heritage.
What would you like your epitaph to be?
One of life’s best friends and a devout mother.
