Restructured Bardsley finds better times
Bardsley Construction Group is also carrying out new build, refurbishment and design works for Leeds, Kirklees, Calderdale and Bradford councils.
During 2010, the Manchester-based business increased its turnover to £64.8m from £57.4m the year before.

Hide AdLast year, Bardsley achieved a rise of 2.6 per cent in gross profit to £6.4m.
Chairman Roly Bardsley said: “This year has been extraordinary in different ways. We have successfully restructured and refinanced after two years of intense work.
“It has been an expensive and distracting process but one which sets us up perfectly for the climb out of recession and into better times.”
Bardsley is one of the preferred contractors for the University of Bradford’s four year works construction project.

The framework agreement as a whole will generate up to £47m of construction work around the university campus.
The company’s corporate restructuring, which separates the contracting and development business, is designed to strengthen the business and protect it from the Government’s cuts in public spending.
