The website, created by Headland, allows visitors to plan trips, book theme park tickets and hotel rooms, and see their own reviews and photos.
The agency, which is based in Leeds and Nottingham, worked with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr, to create a social media portal called Social Central.

Headland has been working with Alton Towers for three years and said the number of unique visitors to the resort’s website has increased from three million to more than seven million in this time.
