Taste for luxury drives on Burberry
The 156-year-old luxury brand reported total revenues of £1.027bn for the six months to the end of March, in line with analysts’ average forecast of £1.03bn.
The company said retail revenues, which now account for 72 per cent of group sales, rose almost a quarter to £743m and that the outlook was good.

Capacity has doubled at the site to 600 employees, who make the iconic heritage trenchcoat.
