Yorkshire Bank invests £45m in drive to give better customer service
The programme includes a UK-wide programme of branch relocations and refurbishments, combined with improved mobile and internet banking services.
The new branch – in Briggate, Leeds – replaces the old branch at nearby Kirkgate. The new branch will be one of the largest in the bank’s network, and it will offer extended opening hours.

Hide AdSplit over two storeys, the new office will eventually house more than 130 employees across a range of functions, including teams from the business and private banking arm and customer support centres.
The branch also includes displays in the banking hall featuring some of Yorkshire Bank’s archive material.
Emma Jo Beadle, the bank manager at Yorkshire Bank Leeds City, said: “We’re delighted to move to this fantastic new flagship branch on Briggate, which underlines our commitment to the city. While customers expect us to deliver flawless service, we also want them to have an enjoyable, 21st century banking experience.”

This is an excellent new flagship branch in the heart of Leeds and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve the local community.”
The Leeds City branch’s opening hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 4pm on Saturday.
