As coronavirus has spread in the UK, many workers have been told to work from home, some have been furloughed, and others have begun using personal protective equipment (PPE) to try to contain and prevent the spread of the infection. The ONS obtained an estimate of exposure to disease (generally) for UK occupations. Here are the results:
1. Dental nurses
Dental nurses are the most likely to be exposed to coronavirus according to the ONS statistics
2. Nurses
Nurses are the second most likely to be exposed to the coronavirus infection according to the ONS.
3. Medical Practitioners
Medical Practitioners are the third most likely to be exposed to coronavirus infection at work according to the ONS.
4. Houseparents and residential wardens
Houseparents and residential wardens are the fourth most likely to be exposed to coronavirus infection according to the ONS.
