For sale: fabulous family home in Ripponden
The owners of this large, light-filled property in the sought-after village of Ripponden have made the most of the space thanks to a stylish renovation.
They bought the four-bedroom house 18 years ago and it has been a much-loved family home ever since.

The latest update includes new hardwood flooring and carpets, new double-glazed sash windows, renovated antique radiators in every room and freshly-painted and decorated walls.
“We also commissioned a bespoke set of gates for outside and iron balustrades inside from the local blacksmith,” says Mark.
He and his wife are selling to take on a new property project now that their children have flown the nest, though they will miss this house.

“We also love the huge main bedroom and its A-frame beams. We’ll really miss that window and view,” says Mark.
“The kitchen is the heart of the home and it’s great for entertaining or family meals. It also goes straight out to the garden, which is lovely for summer.”
The location too is hard to beat. It’s a five-minute walk into open countryside and a 10-minute stroll into Ripponden where there are shops, pubs and restaurants.
