Plots of land for self building are generally hard to find and come at a premium but here are some for sale in Yorkshire that may take your fancy. They range from those in rural beauty spots plus one in a coastal town and one in a sought-after city. For those hunting for plot, regularly check property portals, such as Rightmove, and make sure you are on your local authority’s self and custom-build register.
Also remember that as plots are rare, replacing or radically altering and extending an existing property is an option, subject to planning permission.
