Bomb squad called to ferry at Hull Docks
A controlled explosion was carried out at Hull Docks this morning ater a bomb scare onboard a ferry.
Humberside Police was notified of a piece of unattended luggage found on the Pride of York Ferry at 9am.
All ferry staff were evacuated from the ship as a precautionary measure.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal was called out and carried out the controlled explosion.
It is not believed that the item was anything other than left luggage.
