"The Duchess is obviously disappointed not to be able to carry out the engagement. We hope to rearrange it for the near future," she added.

Camilla's trip to the centre in Hammersmith, west London, would have been the first time she had made an official appearance since she broke her left leg last week while hill walking in Scotland.
Yesterday, the Prince of Wales was still planning to attend tomorrow's funeral of Mr Kaczynski despite the massive disruption to air traffic caused by the ash.
He is representing the Queen and could join a host of world leaders at the ceremony, including US President Barack Obama, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Despite the air cancellations, no change to the plans had been made by last night.
