'Dukes of Hazzard' moment for driver who overshot junction and landed in sheep field in North Yorkshire
North Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Group said the Citroen was travelling at excess speed when they overshot a junction, took off over an embankment, cleared a fence and landed in a field.
The crash happened near Richmond this week and a recovery truck was needed to retrieve the stricken vehicle.

Hide AdA post on the group's Facebook page said: "A bit of a Dukes of Hazzard moment over the weekend for this Citroen driver near Richmond.
"Excess speed for the country road resulted in the driver shooting straight over a junction, taking off over an embankment and clearing a fence before landing in a field some 30 metres from the road.
"A lesson learned for the driver and they will be spoken to in due course. Injuries are luckily not life threatening. Off road recovery have attended and removed the car for the insurance company to deal with."
