Man to go on trial over death of 21-year-old killed in fatal crash between car and tractor in West Yorkshire village
Rizwan Attaullah pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before Leeds Crown Court over the death of 21-year-old Ali Ahmed.
Mr Ahmed was the front seat passenger in a VW Golf when it hit a parked car on Batley Road, Kirkhamgate, on September 9, 2018, at around 9.15pm

Hide AdThe force of the collision caused the car to cross over to the opposite side of the road and collide with an oncoming Massey Ferguson tractor, before hitting a wall.
Mr Ahmed, from Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury, suffered fatal injuries. The driver was seriously injured and was described as being in a critical condition after the incident.
The driver of the tractor was not injured.
Attaullah, 29, of Lees Hall Road, Thornhill Lees, pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing the death of Ali Ahmed by driving dangerously on the A642 Horbury Road and Batley Road, Kirkhamgate.
A trial date was set for January 6 next year.
Attaullah was bailed until the trial.
