‘Despicable’ thefts at fire deaths home
Neighbours tried in vain to save Anna and Victor Crowther when their terrace home in Montrose Street, Hull, became engulfed in flames on Saturday.
Now the Crowthers’ family have had their grief compounded by a burglary, in which heirlooms, jewellery, and children’s toys were stolen.

The family is already devastated by the loss of loved ones and to then lose property in this manner has added a great deal more distress.”
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
