Destination Doncaster for Dreamliner
Thomson, part of the TUI Travel group, is the first UK operator to use the Dreamliner, which can carry 291 passengers and offers an array of features, including sunrise and sunset lighting effects and higher humidity levels, to help reduce jet lag for long-haul flights.
Steve Gill, managing director at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield, said: “We are delighted that TUI have come to Yorkshire and have chosen Doncaster Sheffield Airport to undertake a number of training and testing exercises for the Dreamliner.
