Dog rescued from Doncaster house fire
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a dog during a blaze at a house in the Cantley area of Doncaster.
The ground floor of the semi-detached house on Maple Avenue was well alight when fire crews arrived just after 7.30pm last night. (Weds Aug 3)
The occupant was already outside the house, but a dog was trapped inside.

Hide AdFirefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house and rescued the dog.
Crews administered oxygen to the dog to bring it round.
A vet was called to the incident to check on the dog. It is believed that the dog is now recovering well.
An investigation into the cause of the fire will now take place.
