'Don't call us if you can't get home' say police after lightning strike blocks Yorkshire train lines
Police have warned rail passengers NOT to call them if they can't get home because of lightning strikes.
A spokesman for the force said: "We are aware that the Leeds signal box has been struck by lightening.
"This is causing delays and services to be cancelled. Please do not contact 101 or 999 to ask how to get home. Contact the information desks in stations for updates. #staysafe"
