AMAZING PHOTOS: What's happened to Filey's famous sandy beach ?!
Filey Lifeboat team posted these images on social media yesterday showing the beach covered in rocks and pebbles.
They said: "Something has stolen the sand. This will challenge our tractor drivers.
"But don't worry the sand will be back soon."

Some have responded suggesting the odd sight has been caused by strong winds and assuring people that the sand will return.
The beach is described on thebeachguide.co.uk: "The glorious 5-mile stretch of golden sand stretches from the rocky peninsula of Filey Brigg to the north down to Bempton, home to an RSPB reserve.
"At low tide a quarter-mile width of sand is exposed. Younger visitors will find plenty of good rock pools to explore along this stretch."
