Welcome return for Game Farmers at show
GFA chairman Jonathan Crow was inspired to go into game farming after attending the CLA Game Fair in 1981 aged 10.
Mr Crow said: “We are looking forward to bringing game back to the CLA Game Fair. Game farming is the bedrock of the UK shooting industry and good quality young birds are our members’ product. We want to explain this to all, and the CLA Game Fair is an outstanding opportunity to do so.”

The exhibition will demonstrate the lifecycle of breeding game birds from the incubation of eggs to the release of birds so that young people will have the opportunity to learn about the industry.
The demonstration at the event will begin with the washing of eggs in preparation for incubation. Children will be welcome to have a go before moving on to see day-old chicks followed by those ready for release.
A variety of game birds will also be on show with information on their best attributes.
CLA Game Fair director Andrew Crawford said: “We are glad to welcome the Game Farmers Association back to the CLA Game Fair.”
