Hunt for owner after set of medals is found near river
The hunt began after a resident in Richmond, North Yorkshire, found six Second World War medals next to the river near Mercury Bridge on
Station Road. He also found a set of miniature replica medals.

Hide AdThe Military Cross, awarded for gallantry, bears the inscription Lieutenant T Reynolds, KOYLI (King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry), 22 April 1943. All the other medals are inscribed Major T Reynolds – KOYLI.
It is believed that the Military Cross was awarded to a Lt Thomas Reynolds (service number 108199). His address is given as Hindhead in Surrey. Anyone with information is urged to call 0845 6060247.
