Major landmark for Minor fans
Only five people gathered in the Drysalters Pub in Elland Road, Leeds in October 1980 but there are now about 60 enthusiastic club members.
Tomorrow night branch members are meeting at Cleckheaton Social Club to toast 30 years of largely trouble-free motoring.

Hide AdClub founder Phil Ellis, of Highburton, Huddersfield said 'Moggies' were fun, reliable and easy to maintain.
"They really are great little cars that always seem to make people smile when they see them. They are easy to run, maintain, spares are readily available and they are full of character.
"Who doesn't have a family member who owned one in the past?"
Mr Ellis knows of a Morris Minor owner whose car has "gone round the clock" three times in its 42 years. The family's other Moggie has done over 200,000 miles over 32 years. There are over 13,000 worldwide members of the national club.
