Man arrested over attack on RL fan
A man has been arrested over an attack which left a Halifax rugby league supporter in a coma.
David Singer, 32, of Halifax, suffered serious head injuries outside Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington on September 26, after watching his team play Featherstone Rovers.
A 26-year-old man from Pontefract was arrested on suspicion of assault and violent disorder and remains in police custody, Cheshire Police said.
