Mumford and sons run in memory of mother

FATHER Andrew Mumford and his sons are to run a charity race in memory of his wife and their mother, who died of cancer last year.

The family first took part in Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity’s Run in the Park, held in Graves Park in Sheffield, in 2010, just a few months after Louise Mumford was diagnosed with cancer.

Mr Mumford, 43, said: “It has been a hard year but the boys amaze me at how well they have coped and still continue to do well at school, which is what their mum would have wanted.
