YP Letters: Strictly patronising words from male viewers
The adverse comments (The Yorkshire Post, December 3) regarding Strictly Come Dancing from two men (one who has never even seen the programme) are very patronising.
This is more than a dance competition, it is a family fun entertainment show and should be seen as such.

Hide AdHowever to see those competitors progressing from having no previous dance experience, determined to improve and learn from their professional dance partners, is well worth watching – and remember not everyone who enjoys dancing can physically dance any more.
However with any competition, surely the best deserve to win in the end?
Anyway, what else is there to watch on a Saturday evening – football perhaps or snooker? Each to his own!
