How to tune into local radio along the Yorkshire coast – Yorkshire Post Letters
I READ Louise Scott’s letter (The Yorkshire Post, April 6) about how she listens to the new all-digital local radio station based in Scarborough – This Is The Coast.
As I live further down the coast in Bridlington I have the opportunity to listen to This Is The Coast, but only on the internet radio band of our Roberts DAB/DAB+/FM/Internet radio, or via Alexa, or on the Roku Streamer as the North Yorkshire based DAB+ transmitter doesn’t reach Brid.

Bridlington Gold joins other Yorkshire all-digital stations including Rombalds Radio (Ilkley, Keighley & Skipton), Your Harrogate (Harrogate & District) and YorkMix (York & Selby) which are filling the gap left by the demise of previously well-known local stations when their transmitters were taken over by the network station Greatest Hits Radio based in Manchester and London.
Enjoy the best of listening.
