Ski-injury MP returns to Parliament
Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart, 51, broke his pelvis and several ribs and punctured a lung during a “freak accident” in the French Alps. But yesterday he confirmed he would be returning to the House of Commons.
He said his recovery was going well but he would be reliant upon his wheelchair and crutches for a few weeks yet but said he was looking forward to his return.

Mr Stuart had to have a four and a half hour operation to have plates and screws fitted to his pelvis after he slipped as he skied towards a restaurant and landed badly in the accident on March 17.
He had been enjoying a weekend skiing trip in Grands Montets, in the Chamonix valley.
