Huge blaze engulfs Hull power station
The Creyke Beck station between Cottingham and Dunswell erupted in an orange ball of flames and a sent cloud of smoke that could be seen as far away as Beverley.
Six fire engines are at the scene and nearby roads are closed, but National Grid said there were no casualties and that electricity supplies were not affected.
However, there is heavy traffic in the area.
