Top Olympic swimmer dies at training camp
A Norwegian team official said he had died after a cardiac arrest.
In a statement, officials said the 100-metre breaststroke world champion was found collapsed on his bathroom floor late on Monday. Team doctor Ola Roensen immediately began performing CPR until an ambulance arrived.

Hide AdThe swimmer was taken to the Flagstaff Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead.
“Everything was done according to procedure, and we tried everything, so it is immensely sad that we were not able to resuscitate him,” said Dr Roensen.
“We’re all in shock,” said Norway coach Petter Loevberg. “ Our thoughts primarily go to his family.”
