Yorkshire weather forecast: this weekend expect a rise in temperatures and bright sunshine
Although some parts of the region will feel cooler toward the coast, most parts will feel warm in the sunshine, with clear skies.
Here’s this weekend’s weather forecast.
What’s the weather forecast this weekend?
Friday (24 April) will see any early mist and fog quickly ease back to the North Sea, although sea fret may persist in places. It will then be largely fine, with unbroken sunshine, but there will also be a cool onshore breeze near the coast with light winds inland. Maximum temperature of 19C.

Saturday (25 April) will see an early mist and fog burning back to coasts during the morning, then another dry day, but more cloud than of late. There will be some brighter spells, especially inland, with light winds. Maximum temperature of 16C.

What’s the long-range forecast?
The Met Office UK forecast for Tuesday 28 April to Thursday 7 May explains that “Tuesday will be generally cloudy with some sunny spells and the risk of showers, or perhaps some heavier downpours of rain, for many parts of the UK.”

Stay at home
The Met Office has previously reminded the public to “please remember, despite the sunny weather, during this Coronavirus crisis the Government advice is to only go outside for food, health reasons or work, to stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people and to wash your hands regularly.”
Current government guidance is to only leave the house for very limited purposes, which are:
