Wildlife of national park inspires Yorkshire artists
Emma Stothard, who lives and works in Whitby, is known for life-size sculptures which range in size from a bee to a horse.
She currently has sculptures on the Orchard Lawns at Highgrove at the invitation of the Prince of Wales. Her bronze wire sculptures Mob of Meerkats, Doe & Fawn and Watchful Hare were seen at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Hide AdHer work can be seen at the ‘Inspired by...’ gallery at The Moors National Park Centre, Danby, from Wednesday.
The Spirited Wildlife features the work of two other Yorkshire artists, sculptor Stef Ottevanger and watercolourist Andy Broderick.
Stef Ottevanger is based at the Reeth National Park Centre in the Yorkshire Dales and Andy Broderick lives and works in Saltburn.
All three artists will be at the gallery from noon to 3pm on Saturday for a Meet the Artists event, with music from harpist Elisabeth Westhead for 30 minutes from noon, 1pm and 2pm.
Spirited Wildlife runs until September 16. Entry is free.
