Woman, 45, seriously injured in South Yorkshire motorway collision
A 45-year-old woman suffered serious and possibly life-altering injuries in a collision involving three vehicles on the A1 between Barnsley and Sheffield.
Police are seeking witnesses to the incident which occurred at 11.35pm last night.
The collision involved a Porsche Cayenne that the woman was driving, a white HGV and a white BMW as they were being driven on the A1 northbound, away from the M18, between junctions 35-36.
The woman remains in hospital where she is in a serious but stable condition, police said.
Witnesses are asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1245 of 18 February 2016.
