Barnsley FC head coach Valerien Ismael on Andre Green speculation
The club have landed their chief targets in the shape of MK Dons forward Carlton Morris and Forest Green defender Liam Kitching, who will add options up front and in the back four respectively.
Ismael revealed that there could be further activity on the incoming front if it 'makes sense' this month.

Rated as a prodigious talent when he was coming through the age groups at Villa Park, Green is seeking to reignite his career with Barnsley credited with an interest alongside Luton Town and Brentford.
On speculation linking the Reds with Green, Ismael added: "It was the same when I came here and I heard about the name and the player.
"I know about the player; he is a good player. But as of now, he has a player who has not played for months now and it is difficult to integrate a player. We will see. Our priority, for sure, is to see some players who can come in directly (quickly) for us."

Hide AdOn the prospect of inward business this month after the signings of Morris and Kitching, the Reds chief added: "We will see. We have some ideas and are looking at the market and aware that if we can do something and it makes sense for us, we will do it. Otherwise, we won't do it.
"We will stay aware. Maybe we will do something, but I need to be 100 per cent sure that this is an option for us and it is a good thing."
Expressing his delight at the signing of Kitching and Morris, he added: "Liam is a left-footed centre back who is brave with the ball and plays with courage and aggressiveness and he is only 21. But he has leadership already, you can see it. I think it is a good move for us.
"Carlton is a complete striker. He is excellent in the air with good speed and is technically strong and I think it is a new option for us and it will give us more flexibility and strength up front. The profile is perfect for me."
