Doncaster Rovers v Fleetwood Town - Striker Fejiri Okenabirhie hoping squad stays together
Rovers are currently in discussions with a number of players whose contracts expire at the end of the campaign.
Doncaster have endured a difficult few months, with their play-off hopes hanging by a thread following a poor run of form that has seen them pick up just three wins in their last 14 games.

“You want to keep that continuity,” he said.
“We have done well for the majority of the season but now it is not ending how we want it.
“The core group of players we have here know how each other work.
“If we are able to keep that together then that will give us a good chance for next season.
“Hopefully we can keep as many boys as we can.”

Hide AdRovers’ lack of points in recent months has seen them slip to 13th in the League One table, six points behind sixth-placed Charlton Athletic with five games remaining.
Okenabirhie, who has scored 10 league goals this season and three in other competitions, insists Doncaster will continue battling to climb back up the ladder.
“Having been up there for so long, that was our aim. It still is our aim”, he said ahead of the trip to Fleetwood Town
“Obviously it is a lot more difficult now. While it is still mathematically possible, we are going to fight for every point. We have to stay positive and look to get three points on Saturday and then look at the table from there.

The 25-year-old scored in last weekend’s victory over Shrewsbury Town but Doncaster were unable to build on that win as they lost 2-1 at Accrington Stanley in midweek.
Okenabirhie has been required to be more versatile this season but admits he enjoys providing flexibility for the manager.
He added: “It is a positive for me to be able to play in a few positions. You have got to be flexible as a player. It means I can still impact the game.

“We wanted to build on the win against Shrewsbury, we weren’t able to do that. We have another game this weekend to get back to what we want to do.”
