Whites striker Patrick Bamford, who was controversially missed out on a place in the England squad for the current international break, has backed Leeds to nail down a top-half finish, and claimed: "In one off games we have played against the top teams and top four teams and we have beat some of them.
“It’s kind of wrong to say that because we have beat them we could definitely get top four but if we got a bit more consistent I think that top ten should be a minimum.
"With the way that we play and if we shore up a little bit and do get that consistency then there’s no reason why not.”
Meanwhile, down in the Championship, the race for promotion and battle against relegation could go down to the final game of the season, with Barnsley pushing the play-offs, and Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United all looking to escape the drop.
