The Whites are undefeated in six matches, and will look to continue their fine run of form with another good result against the Seagulls.
Speaking after last weekend's 0-0 draw with arch-rivals Manchester United, Leeds star Kalvin Phillips reflected on his side's impressive season, and revealed: “It's massive (being in the top half of the table) for us.
“We never thought at the start of the season we would be in the top 10 - we just take every game as it comes. We've done very well this season. We've still got a few games left. We're safe now, so we can enjoy our football.
“The pressure is kind of off now because we know whatever happens we're not going to go down so we can enjoy it and push on for the rest of the games.”
Meanwhile, down in the Championship, Barnsley have already secured a play-off spot, while fellow Yorkshire sides Huddersfield Town, Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United all remain locked in a fierce relegation battle that looks set to go down to the final day of the season.
Here are today's biggest transfer stories and the latest team news involving Leeds United, Huddersfield Town and a number of other sides from Yorkshire and beyond, as the reaction to the build-up to the weekend's action continues:
