Ratings: Middlesbrough v Huddersfield Town
Bettinelli: No chance with Mbenza’s brilliant free-kick. Good save just before break to deny Bacuna and a key one in the second half to thwart Phillips. 7
Fisher: Won the penalty that put Boro ahead just before the break. Came late in the second half. Will have been happy when Mbenza departed. 6

Huddersfield Town
Schofield: Did not look great under the high ball and will have been disappointed that Fletcher’s penalty squirmed under him. 5
Pipa: Showed early intent. But was then on the back foot. 6
Keogh: At full-stretch at times and tested aerially. 6
Sarr: A few nervy moments and struggled against the wit and guile of Watmore at times. 6
O’Brien: A bit soft for Watmore’s goal and it was compounded by his penalty concession. 5 Understandably moved to his normal midfield role at the break. 5
