Rotherham United keen to sign another midfielder before transfer deadline
In recent weeks, Warne has played with four central midfielders in a 3-5-2 formation which has magnified the need for another player in that area.
The Millers manager currently has five centre midfielders in his squad but feels the change in approach means he needs to add a sixth, to provide more depth in the middle of the pitch.

Hide AdRotherham have until 11pm on February 1 to get a deal completed with Warne already down the line with one target.
"We are playing with four centre midfielders at the moment, I like the system we are playing with," said Warne.
"We have got five centre-midfielders at the moment, four of which are playing every game.
"It is inconceivable to think we can get through to the end of the season with them all playing 23 games at 90 minutes, with the amount of effort they put in."

"If I am honest, the stage I am at with the player is that I have spoken to the club and they have insinuated he is available.
"His agent says he is available so, financially if we can, we will do it."
Warne has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's contest with in-form Swansea City.

“Kieran Sadlier is doing okay, he still gets a little bit of pain in his ankle, he’ll train on the grass today.”
