Ex-Leeds United, Aston Villa, Man City and Everton man linked with free transfer to Sheffield United, Sunderland and Middlesbrough
Football League World have claimed that Sheffield United and Middlesbrough are among the sides considering a move for the ex-Leeds United and Aston Villa player who left Everton following the expiration of his contract.
The Bradford-born player, who also spent four years at Manchester City, turns 33 in November, with Sunderland and West Brom also reported to be in the running for his services.

Hide AdSheffield United have room to add one out-of-contract player to their squad before the January transfer window after Paul Heckingbottom included just 24 players in his squad list, which was submitted to the EFL earlier this week.
Following the transfer deadline, Middlesbrough boss Chris Wilder admitted that he would need to explore the free agent market.
He said earlier this month: “It's not going to be ideal, but there might be something that drops out for us. So, yet again, the work doesn't stop. We'll need a slice of luck in terms of not losing players.
"The squad lacks a little bit of depth in a certain position, that's all. We've got to work hard on that out-of-contract list and hopefully somebody will be floating about that's maybe ended their contract that might become available and that will be great.
"But that's all. It's a bit of depth we're lacking in that one position, but that's it.”
Delph made just 49 appearances in three years at Goodison Park after an injured-ravaged spell with the club.
