Aden Flint becomes Sheffield Wednesday's second deadline-day signing
Former Middlesbrough stopper, Flint, 31, who has not started a league game for the Bluebirds since New Year's Day, has been unveiled as an Owls player after passing a medical.
Out of favour in South Wales, Flint who jumped at the chance to head to Yorkshire, with his options likely to be further diminished by Cardiff's targetting of Leicester's Croatian international Filip Benkovic.

Hide AdFlint has been forced to play second fiddle to Neil Harris' first-choice centre-back pairing of Sean Morrison and Curtis Nelson, despite arriving for around £6m under Neil Warnock from Boro.
The giant centre-half is Wednesday's ninth signing of the window.
Meanwhile, Beverley-born Marriott had earlier joined the Owls on a season-long loan and had also been on the radar of rival Championship clubs Swansea City, Cardiff City, Middlesbrough and Millwall.
Derby have inserted a recall clause in the deal, which can be triggered in January.

Hide AdMarriott provides another much-needed forward option for Owls manager Garry Monk.
The 26-year-old forward has appeared in all six of Derby's League and Cup fixtures this season and he scored in the 2-1 defeat against Luton Town for the Rams, who have brought in former Sheffield United striker Colin Kazim-Richards this week.
Marriott was expected to sign a one-year extension with the Rams before heading out to Hillsborough on loan. His contract in the East Midlands was due to run out next summer.
He will wear the number nine jersey at Hillsborough.
Speaking about incoming transfers at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Monk said: And on the prospect of inward activity, he continued: "There are a number of names you are always going to be linked to in the transfer market.
"We are working to try and find solutions and help strengthen the squad."
