Smithies quits Huddersfield Town for QPR
The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Loftus Road after completing a medical.
Town, meanwhile, are offering supporters the chance to get their names on a special one-off team shirt that will be worn in the club’s penultimate home game of the season against Birmingham City on April 23.

Hoyle added: “So many fans get printing on their replica kit featuring their favourite player’s name. Well, now they have the chance to get the players to wear theirs.”
