2. Cardiff 3-0 Hull City
An absolutely miserable season for Hull City was compounded by a heavy defeat to Cardiff City, meaning the Tigers finished dead last in the Championship. The Welsh side were simply better and more clinical going forward, having 14 shots compared to Hull’s eight, whilst Grant McCann’s side were dispossessed a whopping eight times during the game. 3. Sheffield Wednesday 1-2 Middlesbrough
Paddy McNair had a brilliant game in the middle of the park for Neil Warnock’s side. The Republic of Ireland man had a pass success of 60 percent, won three aerial duels, two tackles and won a corner. The ex-Sunderland man also waded in with Boro’s opening goal. 4. Brentford 1-2 Barnsley
What a win for the Tykes, who secured safety and will play their football in the Championship again next season. Barnsley forced three corners, won 25 aerial duels and were relentless in their attacks, managing 11 shots on goal.
