The home game with the Bees is the appetiser to a mouth-watering away double-header at relegated big guns Newcastle United and Aston Villa - with Town travelling to Tyneside to provide the Magpies with their first home opponents of 2016-17 on August 13 before visiting Villa Park three days later.

Town’s second home game comes in the shape of a Yorkshire derby at home to Barnsley on August 20 and they end the month with a game with visiting Wolves on August 27.

Hide AdSeptember ends with a big home derby for Town at Leeds United on September 10 and they end the month against visiting Rotherham on September 27 - before welcoming Sheffield Wednesday on October 15.
Town have a Christmas double header, at home to Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, followed by Blackburn on December 31 - and Wagner’s side start 2017 at Wigan on January 2.
Town’s home derby with Leeds is pencilled in for February 4 and they face derby trips to Rotherham on February 14 and Barnsley on February 25.

Glamour home games against Newcastle and Villa arrive, back to back, in early March, with Town hosting the Magpies on March 4 and Villa three days later.
