Wilson will stay with Reds next year - no matter what
Wilson is planning for the future, having added Barnsley-born Mark Crossley to his backroom staff, with the former Nottingham Forest custodian having been made named as the club’s new goalkeeping coach following the decision to part company with Ian Willcock.
At the start of the week, the Reds chief brought in Chris Hutchings as his new number two after Micky Mellon left the club, with the Oakwell outfit keen on looking towards the long term under Wilson.

“It may take time, but we’ll get there and I am very much looking forward to it.
“But there is a ‘little’ job to do first and foremost and if we can stay up, it will be absolutely brilliant.”
