York City 1 Luton Town 0: Play-off bid keeps on track for Minstermen
York had Scott Kerr sent off and four players cautioned while Luton had two yellow cards and manager Gary Brabin sent to the stand.
With Leon Constantine and Neil Barrett starting in place of Peter Till and Michael Rankine, York were nearly ahead after two minutes when Mark Tyler denied Ashley Chambers.

York lost central defender Danny Parslow after 18 minutes following a clash of heads. Scott Kerr, Neil Barrett and Jonathan Smith were all cautioned in quick succession.
Luton manager Brabin was sent to the stand by referee Steve Smith after an altercation on the touchline before York’s Michael Ingham made a fine save to keep out Amari Morgan-Smith’s effort.
Barrett shot wide from a good position for York and Claude Gnakpa headed over for Luton. York broke the deadlock after 65 minutes when Jonathan Smith played in Jamie Reed who beat Tyler. Two minutes later York had Kerr sent off for his second cautionable offence.
