Visiting goalkeeper Chris Neal scored an own goal, before Colin Daniel netted for Vale.

Former Sheffield United striker Chris Porter gave the U’s an early lead, before Jon Stead’s cross was converted by Morais.
Doncaster Rovers let a 2-0 lead slip away at Chesterfield, before drawing 2-2.
Goals from James Coppinger and Andy Butler put Rovers in front, but the Spireites hit back to level via Eoin Doyle and Jimmy Ryan.

Hide AdIn League Two, York City conceded a late penalty, substitute Shaq Coulthirst converting the spotkick, to lose 1-0 at Southend United.
The penalty came after Joe Pigott was felled by Brad Halliday.
York had chances, Luke Summerfield denied by Daniel Bentley, and Russ Penn’s close-range header cleared off the line.
“At the moment the results are not marrying up with the performances unfortunately,” said York boss Russ Wilcox.
