And Nathan has yet to write the ending to his campaign as he is set to head to Spain for the European Junior Open after earning a place at the prestigious tournament via a qualifying event in Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire.
Nathan tied with two other juniors after shooting a gross score of 76.

Hide AdThe former St John Fisher’s School pupil, in Harrogate, said: “I am delighted.
“It was a bit unexpected, especially as I had three double bogeys in my round. I thought I had thrown it away.”
The 17-year-old, who started playing golf at Harrogate GC before moving to Knaresborough, will compete in the four-round championship at Finca Cortesin on the Costa Del Sol hoping to make the cut for the fifth and final day’s play.
In September, his 11-year-old sister Rachel won the Ladies Division 1 monthly medal at Knaresborough and the following weekend won the Division 1 Annual Medal.
At the recent annual Ladies’ presentation night, Rachel, now down to 14 handicap, received her trophy from the club’s ladies’ captain Sue Ibbotson.
