Injured Tendler in bid to tackle Stars
Hull lifted themselves above their Scottish rivals and into pole position in the Conference following Wednesday night’s 3-1 win over Braehead Clan.
But that result in front of home fans was 30-year-old Tendler’s third game out with a groin injury, a situation he hopes ends on Saturday night at Hull Arena.

“I would rather be in the line-up at the end of the year rather than rush back.
“A little bit of rest is all I need. I haven’t pushed myself for the last 10 days and I don’t feel any pain.”
Player-coach Sylvain Cloutier - whose team have yet to win in three meetings with the Stars - had initially hoped to see Tendler return to action against Braehead, but felt it was not worth the risk.

He has led the goalscoring for Hull in every one of his previous seasons, but finds himself trailing team-mate Guillaume Doucet, who is league leader with 35 goals in 39 games.
Hull head back north of the border on Sunday when they will look for a sixth win in as many meetings against Ryan Finnerty’s Braehead.
