Nixon back in style for Pocklington
Pocklington, leading 13-11 at half time, overpowered visitors Ripon
38-18 to take the lead at the top.
Centre Tim Nixon, who has returned from Hull Ionians, touched down for two of Pocklington's four tries, with fellow centre Jack Holbrough and scrum-half Ben Rees scoring the others.
Ripon pulled back a try with the last play of the game.

Hide AdThe visitors were 15-3 down at half-time before getting back with tries by second-row Edward Norris and No 8 David Reed to lead 23-18. But they were denied the winning points when centre Stuart Marton touched down for YMCA's try in the 73rd minute, the home side's previous points being from Edward Barber's six penalties.
Leodiensians, in third place, ran out 62-26 home winners over West Leeds. Centre James Knibbs and winger Neil Liu each scored two of Leos' nine tries, and stand-off Nick Wainwright kicked seven conversions and a penalty.
West Leeds turned round 43-0 down but gained a consolation bonus point with four tries.
Doncaster Phoenix ran in eight tries to two in their 49-18 home victory over Yarnbury.
