Eddie Battye, Etu Uaisele and Pat Walker went over inside the first quarter of the game, punctuated only by a score for the hosts’ Dave Scott.
With the numbers advantage, Sheffield ran riot with Menzie Yere, Matt Garside and Scott Turner all scoring before the break. Kyle Briggs scored from the kick off in the second half with Quentin Lalu-Togagae over soon after.
Scott Spaven hit back for Doncaster on 59 minutes but Sheffield responded with two tries in quick succession from Lalu-Togagae and Uaisele.
